Most of us know the usual ways for kids to make money, which include lemonade stands, newspaper routes and mowing lawns. However, there are more unusual ways. Some of the ways listed below are from my own childhood, when I was always looking for another way to make money.
1. Be a chef. At about eleven years old, I used to sell meals to my brothers (I had four of them). I got 25 cents for scrambled eggs or a sandwich, and more for more complicated meals. My brothers preferred to stay in front of the TV and let me cook for them. Since the food was already provided by my parents, the income was pure profit.
2. Computer whiz-kid service. Many young kids know a lot about computers. My nephew was getting paid for programming by the the time he was fourteen, but even younger kids can show old folks how to use a computer and the internet for a fee. Learn a few more skills, and they can even set up computers for new owners who are using them for the first time. Letting grandparents spread the word would be a good marketing ploy.
3. Household carnival. I charged my brothers five cents for a wadded up piece of paper selected from a bucket full of them. Most had a penny or two inside them, but a few had a quarter. It was just one of my “carnival” events. I also had them throwing pennies at a bowl across the room, which I kept, of course. If a penny stayed in the bowl they won a dime. I’m almost embarrassed to say how much of their hard-earned paper route money I took from them.
4. Collect returnables. We collected and returned cans and bottles for a deposit as kids. Now that more states have return laws, it’s an even better way to make a little cash. During the Cherry Festival, when I lived in Traverse City, Michigan, adults came to town just to collect the cans that people threw all over. With a 10 cent deposit, they were collecting more than $100 worth per day according to several of them. If the kids wear gloves, leave broken cans and bottles alone, and use hand sanitizer, this is a safe way to make money.
5. Personal services menu. If there are many people in the family, a great way for kids to make money is to sell their services. They can make a menu of things they’ll do and how much they charge for each. It might include washing windows for 50 cents each, for example, and maybe $1.50 to walk a dog. If the list is copied, it could be handed out to all relatives and possibly neighbors too.
6. Rummage sales and flea markets. If parents agree, kids can have rummage sales, selling not just household things, but arts and crafts and refreshments too. Parents might even take their kids to a flea market to set up a stand. I sold (as an adult) more than $1,000 of hand-made walking sticks one summer, while my wife sold hundreds of dollars worth in pewter figurines glued to rocks, sea shells and crystals. Cookies and drinks sell well too. It’s a great way to learn about business, and a good way for kids to make money.

The age of the internet has changed how money can be made. Instead of reporting for work to get a decent pay, some can still do it while working from the home.

A good income can be a reality for anyone owning a rubber stamp. The only additional items needed are envelopes, postage stamps, and a few commission circulars. The rubber stamp is the only one of the above items you need to pay for. The envelopes, postage stamps, and circulars can be obtained FREE. Many small operators are earning a comfortable living as commission mailers. The “tricks of the trade” are rather involved, but I’ll give you all the basic information you’ll need to start a profitable business. Hundreds of supply houses are constantly looking for people to mail their circulars for them. In most cases, these people will send you all the circulars you need for FREE.
However, they need to know that you are in business or they cannot send circulars to you. Start your commission mailing business by running this short, classified ad in as many adsheets and magazines as your investment will allow: “Commission circulars mailed free. Must pay me 50% or more. Send postage paid: (your name and address). The above ad will bring plenty of free imprint circulars to you. The prime reasons for using these magazines are: You get a 50% discount on you advertising after the first time in exchange for mailing a few copies You earn a 50% commission on all new co-publishers and advertisers that you get for the publisher. Of course we hope to do some business from your own advertising also. How does the system work? After you place your advertising at the first time rate, you will receive a discount on all future advertising as long as you continue to co-publish that magazine. That discount on your ads and a commission on the others is usually 50%. In return for the discount, you are expected to mail a few copies – honestly. Include the copies in orders that you fill, big mails, or advertise them free for the postage. Using these methods your postage cost to mail your copies is zero. Send them a copy of the magazine that they are not currently co-publishing or advertising. Since the publisher’s name is not printed on the magazines, readers will have to order through you. When they do, you make 50% (and more, sometimes).
HOW TO GET YOUR CIRCULARS MAILED FREE
Yes, there IS a way to get your circulars mailed free. As soon as you can afford it, become a supplier of commission circulars. The easiest way to do this is to take “All-Profit” offers and have circulars printed on two sides. On one side have your own name and address printed. On the other side leave space for a rubber stamp imprint. Offer these circulars to circular mailers on a commission basis. They keep a commission – 50% to 100% on the one side, and you make your profit on the other. Use this same method for any offers that you develop for yourself. You can reach these mailers by advertising in, or subscribing in several mail order trade magazines and ad sheets. Another way to locate mailers for your literature is to notice the ads by mailers; usually at the bottom of their ad they state, “Commission circulars mailed free” which means that they get one side – and you get the other, as above. If you really want to get rolling using this method, take two “All-Profit” offers and give the mailer 100% on one side. You still make yours on the other offer.
Also, if you interested in obtaining additional commission circulars for yourself include the above statement as part of you own ad. Still another way to get your literature mailed free is to include this little note in all of your advertising – at the end of the copy, “Stamp appreciated”. It only costs you two words, but it could save you bunches of bucks in postage. If you are advertising in trade publications or ad-sheets, use “SASE” which means Self-addressed-stamped envelope. The savings for envelopes, addressing labor, and postage can amount to lots of money. Many small dealers use this method exclusively – even in the large circulation magazines. They’ve been using it for years so it must work!

So you want to make money selling t-shirts. Thanks to the Internet, you can easily set up T-shirt shop in less than one hour from now — and make money — without any startup cost.
You see, there are websites out there that let you design your T-shirt — and they also ship and print out the t-shirt for you. All you have to do is drive customer to your online t-shirt shop and make the sale.
Of course it’s not all free because they take a commission for the T-shirt material and shipping handling. So you’re not making that big of a profit, you know what I mean?
Unless… you market your shirt in a special way and sell it for $50. Your profit would be $38 (The shop takes 12 dollars fee). If you are selling a T-shirt for $20 your profit would be … $8.
By the way, if you think this is hard to do — it’s not. All you have to do is upload a picture of the design you want, and then you should be able to “pasted on” the design on the shirt.

Sometimes the last thing you want to do is get a job, especially when there isn’t much to choose from. I know thats the last thing I wanted to do, and small towns don’t exactly have the best jobs available (low pay, crappy conditions). So I went off and found other ways, heres a list of some of the stuff I did to fund paintball, hope you find them valuable.
4 ways to make money through paintball for paintball…
1. The best place to start is to get an eBay account and sell all of your junk. If paintball is more important than your xbox, then slap it on… if you have a trunk of baseball cards, throw it on eBay. Heck, I sold everything I could get my hands on… I sold video games I didn’t play anymore, old toys, anything and everything
2. Now after you do that, don’t just spend the money you made yet… invest it back into what your doing. How? I took the money I made and started buying deals on eBay, re-listing them and making some good money. Make sure its something you can resell, or know a lot about. In my case I bought large paintball packages that were either listed with a misspelling in the title or listed in the wrong category… you’d be surprised what you can find. To give you an example, I bought a vintage paintball marker that came with a couple of tanks, masks and another gun. I was the only bidder and paid $200 for the whole package. I listed each item individually and made $200 on the vintage paintball gun alone, so I did pretty well. Do this a couple of times and you have more than enough to fund paintball.
3. If you are good at fixing paintball markers, buy broken guns for dirt cheap, fix and sell them on eBay . Back when BE stingrays were still on the market (yes stingrays), I would buy a lot to modify and resell for $20 to $50 profit.
4. Creative? Innovative? Sell your own paintball mod, accessory, or service on eBay If you did step 3 then you should have plenty of guns to tinker with. An example would be the player that sells his own version of the speedfeed for evlution hoppers, or the player that sells milled body kits. Others powdercoat paintball guns to colors you can’t get them in (which is what I did).
If you are afraid of doing this, or if this is too much for you, think again… I didn’t know what I was doing when I first started (I was 14) and made plenty of mistakes along the road, but once I got the hang of it I made enough to buy the gear I wanted and play as long as I wanted. I also pissed off a lot of my friends too, because they thought my parents bought everything for me…
These are all ways to fund paintball through paintball, its a way to keep doing something you love to keep playing something you love, and nothing is better than that.

As I said, this is more difficult than the other two, but it is possible to learn how to do it quite easily.

My advice is – start small. Take some surveys, provide a service, and/or dip into affiliate marketing. With the money you make you will then be able to purchase tools that will take you to the next step – and then you could quite possible get into the millions.
