It seems to be a growing trend. Someone gets a new computer & the first thing that they Google is make money. The ironic thing is that most people who do this have absolutely no idea about money.

If you are looking for a way to make money on the internet then you better be prepared to spend some money to learn. Yes it will cost you money to learn how to make money. If you do not believe me & you are currently employed then ask your boss & they will tell you the same thing.

If you are looking for something for free then a part time job may be more realistic for you.

Here are a few things to chew on:

1. Everything costs money

2. You will not get rich overnight

3. It is going to cost you to learn

4. If you are skeptical then you are wasting your time

No that we have gotten that out of the way & you are still here reading this, then you must have some level of desire. You may be looking for a change in your life.

Well enough of the doom & gloom. I am going to tell it like it is.

There are many people who are making a lot of money on the internet. Some people are making multiple 5 figure, 6 figure & even 7 figure incomes on the internet.

Here are 3 ways to make money on the internet:

1. Affiliate Programs

2. Advertising

3. Selling Products

Affiliate Programs

Some people will still choose to not believe this. If someone only makes $30K per year then may have a very hard time believing that someone else makes $300,000 per year working from home from some affiliate program.

These “special” affiliate people are called pro marketers. Pro marketers know how to have hundred of prospects coming into their business pipeline each week. If you have enough prospects then you have enough sales. If you have enough sales then you make extra passive income that most companies pay you each month.

Advertising:

Many people are taking the safer route by making money on the internet through Google ad sense. They design websites that are filled with content that they get from article posts like these & place them on their sites hoping to get traffic that will end up clicking on their links to earn them revenue. You can make a lot of money with this kind of venture but it will still cost you to learn. Keep in mind that since most people think that this is a “safe” way to make money, the internet ends up being saturated with ad sense websites.

Selling Products:

Another way to make money on the internet is to have an online store. There are many websites that sell products. When any one purchases a product from that particular store then the owner makes a commission for selling the product. This isn’t a bad idea as long as you can find a company that has good products with a compensation plan that doesn’t involve nickels & dimes.

There are many more ways to make money on the internet but they all have one thing that everyone strives for. Everyone who is earning money makes it from their websites. The only way to make money is to have enough targeted traffic bringing in prospects on a daily basis.

The people that are really good at getting a lot of targeted traffic to their websites are the ones who make most of the money.

Who hasn’t dreamed of winning the lottery or receiving some random windfall of money, which will solve all of their financial problems? Probably not a single person on this planet. We all dream of something like this happening, but the problem is that it’s simply doesn’t. Who, among the people reading this article, knows someone who received a million dollars in the lottery or some other windfall? And if by chance you do know someone who did, what are the chances of the same thing happening to you? Slim to none.

Making money is a process, ask anyone who’s got a lot of it. They will tell you that they started with something that worked, added a little more, and repeated. That’s it. Making money is a process, not something that happens overnight. It’s as simple as that.

Now this article flies directly in the face of many of the “opportunities” that are seen on the internet and television today. There are people and companies out there making claims that would make winning the lottery seem like hard work! They make it seem as if making money will require less work than buying that lottery ticket. And they will sell you this secret information for forty bucks!

I just want people to begin using their common sense. Remember what your father told you? If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is? Do you remember that? Well start living by it for God’s sake! The best thing to do when presented with these incredible offers is to trust your instincts. The good lord gave instincts to you for a reason. Use them.

This article isn’t being written to disparage opportunity. It’s being written to disparage all of the hype out there that claims that you can receive something for nothing. There are plenty of opportunity’s out there that are wonderful, and offer normal people the ability to make a lot of money, just beware when any of them claim that money can be made by doing next to nothing. There is always a process involved in making money.

That process can involve many many different things. Real Estate, websites, telemarketing, book writing, collectibles, real estate notes, etc. The list is almost endless; just remember any of them that claim to be able to provide you with money without a process in place aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on.

Dogs Discussion

Most of us know the usual ways for kids to make money, which include lemonade stands, newspaper routes and mowing lawns. However, there are more unusual ways. Some of the ways listed below are from my own childhood, when I was always looking for another way to make money.

1. Be a chef. At about eleven years old, I used to sell meals to my brothers (I had four of them). I got 25 cents for scrambled eggs or a sandwich, and more for more complicated meals. My brothers preferred to stay in front of the TV and let me cook for them. Since the food was already provided by my parents, the income was pure profit.

2. Computer whiz-kid service. Many young kids know a lot about computers. My nephew was getting paid for programming by the the time he was fourteen, but even younger kids can show old folks how to use a computer and the internet for a fee. Learn a few more skills, and they can even set up computers for new owners who are using them for the first time. Letting grandparents spread the word would be a good marketing ploy.

3. Household carnival. I charged my brothers five cents for a wadded up piece of paper selected from a bucket full of them. Most had a penny or two inside them, but a few had a quarter. It was just one of my “carnival” events. I also had them throwing pennies at a bowl across the room, which I kept, of course. If a penny stayed in the bowl they won a dime. I’m almost embarrassed to say how much of their hard-earned paper route money I took from them.

4. Collect returnables. We collected and returned cans and bottles for a deposit as kids. Now that more states have return laws, it’s an even better way to make a little cash. During the Cherry Festival, when I lived in Traverse City, Michigan, adults came to town just to collect the cans that people threw all over. With a 10 cent deposit, they were collecting more than $100 worth per day according to several of them. If the kids wear gloves, leave broken cans and bottles alone, and use hand sanitizer, this is a safe way to make money.

5. Personal services menu. If there are many people in the family, a great way for kids to make money is to sell their services. They can make a menu of things they’ll do and how much they charge for each. It might include washing windows for 50 cents each, for example, and maybe $1.50 to walk a dog. If the list is copied, it could be handed out to all relatives and possibly neighbors too.

6. Rummage sales and flea markets. If parents agree, kids can have rummage sales, selling not just household things, but arts and crafts and refreshments too. Parents might even take their kids to a flea market to set up a stand. I sold (as an adult) more than $1,000 of hand-made walking sticks one summer, while my wife sold hundreds of dollars worth in pewter figurines glued to rocks, sea shells and crystals. Cookies and drinks sell well too. It’s a great way to learn about business, and a good way for kids to make money.

Starting your own franchise can be exciting and rewarding both personally and financially. You will have the opportunity to be your own boss so to speak. You will be running a business which has the potential to be very successful. You have made a great choice with choosing to start a franchise. Once you find the right one for you and determine all the specifics, you will then start wondering how you will pay for this endeavor and how will you make money at first if you are spending so much in the beginning. This is a common questions and dilemma for many.

The first step is to be realistic with your budget. You need to find out how much money you will need to start this business and keep it going. But there is a twist, you will also need to know how much you will need to pay your personal expenses until your business takes off and you are making money solely from it. You may not need a lot if you did not have an income or if it was only a small additional income. However you may need much more if your salary was the main source of income for you or your family. This amount of money could actually be larger than the amount you need to start the franchise business. You do have two options to consider.

Option number one is to put extra money into the business and give yourself a salary each week from the business. You will still need to determine how much you need completely.
Option number two is to just put the extra money in your savings account and take from it as you need it. But remember there is only so much money, you will need to have self control and discipline to only take what you need so that it will last you.

Both options are acceptable it just depends on what will truly work better for you. If you would rather just get a “paycheck” to keep things in balance that is fine, however if you feel you can maintain the money you may choose the savings account option which you could also increase by getting a savings account with a high APR .

Getting the money can be a little bit of a challenge and may even seem a bit odd. Sure, it is acceptable to ask for money to start a business, but people don’t get loans just to pay their expenses while they try something new.

You may have a hard time determining how much money you need altogether. Since you will be unsure of how quickly you business will take off to a point where it can pay you. A good thing to do is talk with other franchisees about what they think and use that as a starting point. You may also want to speak with an accountant who can really help you make the best decision for you and your business.

Start you franchise off right and get paid while doing it!

It is very easy to make money with postcards provided you follow some very simple steps. Take care not to make any of the common mistakes that people make when they try this particular type of direct mail marketing.

It’s very easy to get caught up in the idea that postcards are less expensive to send than letters, or any other type of direct mail.

If the fact that postcards are relatively inexpensive to send is foremost on your mind, then it will be easier for you to fall into bad habits, and make the deadly mistakes, which will guarantee that your postcard mailing will be a dismal failure.

On the other hand, if you are able to avoid these mistakes, then postcard marketing can be some of the most profitable marketing you could ever hope to conduct.

The best way to avoid many of the worst mistakes, is to remove from your mind as completely as possible the idea that postcards are less expensive than other direct mail pieces. In fact, you should enter into the entire adventure with the mental attitude that postcards are as expensive as any other form of direct mail. Thus it will be easier for you to treat your postcard marketing with the care and attention it deserves.

Once you have that particular mindset in place, now you can turn your attention to the question of exactly how to make your postcard mailings profitable.

There is no secret to making money with postcards, but you do have to pay careful attention to the things I’m about to tell you. It is these areas more than any others, that can make or break your postcard marketing.

Mail To A Good List

First and foremost is your list. You can have everything else perfect, but if your list is no good, then your mailing will be a disaster.

If you take care in selecting the list you’re going to send your postcards to, you are more than halfway there. A good targeted mailing list will respond to your offer. Even if there are deficiencies in your sales copy, or your method of contact, or with the colors you use, or the size of your postcard, or any number of things which might have gone wrong.

There are a variety of sins which will be overlooked by the customer who is being presented with an offer for something that they are interested in right now.

Therefore, you will be much better off to target your market as closely as possible, by using the best quality mailing list you can get at the very beginning.

Persuade Rather Than Sell

The next thing to watch carefully, is to know what you intend to accomplish.

A postcard is not capable of containing enough text for it to operate effectively as a sales letter. If you are asking the customer to make a purchase, even if it’s a very small purchase, your postcard is not going to do the trick.

Postcard mailings are the most successful when they are primarily promotional in nature.

That is to say, use your postcard to send people to a website, or to call a toll-free number, and only there will you deliver your sales message.

Due to the size of a postcard, the words that you use must be power packed, with not a single word wasted. Your goal is to get someone to look at your postcard, and then take the action that you want them to take. Whether that action is to make a phone call or visit a website, that is the one and only job your postcard should be designed to do.

Then you should split test your mailing to determine the best way to get your postcard to persuade people to do exactly that.

Always Split Test

Failing to perform split tests, would be the third and final area where people make mistakes with postcard marketing.

Always remember to split test. If you have a good targeted list, and you are using your postcard to persuade a person to take the next step, that is all you should expect from your postcard. Perform your postcard split tests with the aim of fine-tuning your ability to get people to take the next step.

Do not try to accomplish too much from your postcard, simply use it as the front part of a two-step process, or as a simple traffic generator to your website.

If you keep these things in mind, you should be able to make money with your postcard marketing.
